Greg Sharon, MD

Dr. Sharon is a board certified allergist-immunologist trained in the treatment of adult and pediatric patients. He was trained at Rush Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. He has practiced for 22 years in the midwest. He uses a variety of treatments, including allergy avoidance, education, medications, nutritional consulting, dietary supplements, and a holistic approach to help patients overcome their illnesses.

He has practiced Allergy/Immunology, in both multi-specialty and single-specialty practice. He is involved in drug allergy, asthma treatment, psychoneuroimmunobiology, and has worked with Lymes disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and addictive medicine patients in the past.

Dr.Sharon is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Staff at Adventist/Glen Oaks Hospital. He is an associate clinical Professor of Medicine at Midwestern University Medical School in Lisle, Illinois. Dr. Sharon is also on the Pharmacy and Therapuetics Committee at Central DuPage Hospital and recent past President of the Illinois Society of Allergy.

Currently, he is interested in the modernization of medicine and has worked toward electronic medical records, electronic search engines, and installation of access to these services at the bedside and in the office. He has also been a pioneer in community asthma screening programs and has screened over 2000 children and adults in the past. For the past 8 years he has been a member of the local school boards Medical Advisory Committee and is committed to community outreach programs.

 

 

Priya Bansal, MD

Dr. Priya Bansal has Three board certifications: Allergy and Immunology, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, so she enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She completed her training at Rush Presbyterial St. Luke's Medical Center in 2004 and has been in practice for 6 years.

Dr. Bansal has many areas of interest which include asthma, allergic rhinitis (Hay Fever), vasculitis (Blood vessel inflammation), and IgE deficiencies. She strongly believes in working closely with patients to improve their home, work, and school environments.

Dr. Bansal is currently the Treasurer of the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

 

 

Shari Sharon, C.P.A. Practice Manager

Mrs. Sharon has been with our practice for 10 years.  She handles insurance contracts and practice administration.

 

 

Sharon Lundberg, R.N. Head Office Nurse

Mrs. Lundberg has been with our staff for 14 years and enjoys teaching allergic disease management skills and the proper use of medications to our patients. She particularly enjoys working with asthmatics to improve the quality of their lives.

 

 

 
Karen Cantalupo, R.N.

Karen Cantalupo, R.N. Office Nurse

Mrs. Cantalupo, in addition to working as an allergy nurse for many years, is the offical pollen counter for the Chicagoland area. She is a certified aero-allergen identification specialist and is responsible for the daily pollen counts reported in the local news. She mainly works on research and special projects.

 

 

   

Gail Macias R.N. Office Nurse

Ms. Macias has been on our staff for over one year and is the Site Co-ordinator for our research studies.

 

Kelly McDonald Office Manager

Mrs. McDonald has worked for the office since her teens and now has become invaluable to the practice for her tremendous working knowledge of an active medical office and the ability to memorize patients demographics.

 

Erin Greenslaugh Receptionist

Erin is a graduate of Western University with a BS in marketing.  She has recently joined our office staff and looks forwarding to meeting everyone and learning all aspects of a medical practice.

Krissy Sharon Receptionist

Ms. Sharon is part of our front desk team and handles patient scheduling, billing, and phone calls.  She also assists the staff with special projects.
